About the Artists

Alê Jordão, is a Brazilian artist who studied Fine Arts at FAAP, where influential artists such as Regina Silveira and Nelson Leirner shaped his artistic perspective. In 2000, he pursued Design at Domus in Milan, immersing himself in the postmodern design and architecture of the 70s and 80s. Alê has established a powerful and conceptually rich body of work that spans various fields, including visual arts, design, and fashion, incorporating technology and neon, creating a striking graphic language. Notable accomplishments include being featured in published books like "Brazilian Modern Design" and having his artworks displayed in prestigious museums, including the Inimá de Paula in Belo Horizonte, National Historical Museum of Rio de Janeiro, Palazzo Barberini in Rome, and the personal collection of Queen Silvia at Drottningholm Palace in Stockholm. CHiNGLiSH WANG is a New York City and Taipei-based visual artist. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, WANG’s work revolves around social values, cultural heritage, and materiality, often lying at the intersection of art and design. He has been commissioned by Levi’s and Crazy Horse Paris and has shown works at the National Palace Museum Taiwan, the Museum of Contemporary Art Taiwan, and A Plus A Gallery in Venice, Italy, and Ki Smith Gallery in New York City. Dee Lazzerini starts to explore, instead of organically sculpted masses, simple objects used on a daily basis; such as world maps, world globes, printed newspapers, geographic atlases and human anatomy books. Whereas before pins were introduced from the outside inwards, the artist now inverts the orientation. Therefore the pins are completely exposed through surfaces, acting as a metaphor of a repulsive and inhospitable world (perhaps leading to interpretation from a political perspective), a cloudy world (when colors are abandoned in favour of a single one, black). They represent boundaries not only in land, but in skin. Regardless, the artist carries on his research on ‘’untouchable’’ bodies. Lazzerini obtained his Bachelor’s in Visual Arts, as well as his Masters of Science and PhD in Biomaterials Engineering. His work has been exhibited internationally including Brazil, France, Spain, and the US. Portfolio | Instagram

John Grande is a New York-based artist who reflects upon modern and contemporary culture with his constructed paintings, sculptures and murals while carefully utilizing techniques and traditions as far reaching those of Old Master painters, 19th century artists to 20th century advertising and Pop Art. His subjects are diverse, often readily recognizable and at times quite humorous: from glamorous Hollywood stars to the art world itself and the more gritty subjects of street art. Born in 1969 in Huntington, Long Island, Grande obtained his BFA from the School of Visual Arts and in 1995, and worked as a professional C Printer Tech. He has exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the US and in South Korea, Italy, India and Canada, and his artwork is held in collections worldwide. Website | Instagram

Kristin Simmons is not an artist who indulges in social satire, but rather a social satirist who indulges in art. She adroitly reveals the truth about us indirectly, her artworks — trenchant critiques — wittily exposing modern society through the objects of our desires. We define ourselves in the 21st century not by our aspirations but by the things that symbolize them, things Simmons mocks by trivializing. If we take the time to peel back the layers, we detect her signature smirk, wrapped in wit, inside an innuendo. Simmons is a New York City native and graduate of Columbia University; her work has been shown in exhibitions at Phillips, the United Nations (award recipient), Whitney Museum, Bridgehampton Museum, Bergdorf Goodman, and more.
